7/9/05 - The first Meeting of the Sydney Biodiesel Users Group was hosted by Cameron of the EcoLiving Centre.
It was an informal gathering around the BBQ, with a quick trip over to
the Uni carpark for a look inside the solar powered mobile biodiesel
producing trailer.
We were told some good news:
By the end of this month, the Gosford plant should be distributing
biodiesel
made to Australian Standards via Sydney Waterways Constructions in
Rozelle Bay. The plan is to have a mobile tanker filled on site and
available to users to fill directly into their tanks. Pricing is up to
the distributor, but it is intended to be competitive with petrodiesel.
More information on this will be posted up here when available.
In the mean time, please feel free to ask questions or discuss this in the forums.
