Economy and performance on biodiesel is comparable to petro dieselThis will depend on many factors, but basically, biodiesel will give about the same performance as fossil diesel. Some varieties of biodiesel may give slightly less power, or require slightly more fuel to do the same job and others may give slightly higher performance than petro diesel. This will depend on the source of the oil used and how it has been made. The greater lubricity of biodiesel will also increase the life of your engine by decreasing wear.
