Biodiesel is far safer than any petroleum based vehicle fuel. It is
less toxic than household table salt! It is easily mixed with petro
diesel, either as a fuel blend, or to aid in cleaning up oil spills. It
is as biodegradable as sugar (up to 98% in 3 weeks). It has a much
higher flash point temperature (150° C) than fossil diesel (58° C) and therefore is much safer to store. It also keeps better
than fossil diesel and can be stored for longer. It is also much safer
for your engine to run on biodiesel, as it has a much higher lubricity, which helps to prevent engine wear.
