Member Profiles section added.
In an effort to show people that biodiesel is not just some weird fuel made by strange old hippies in their back yards and run in 20 year old highly modified cars, we have decided to present some profiles from some of our members.
This will hopefully aid to dispel the myth that seems to exist in the general Australian public about biodiesel.
If reading the FAQs and the forums here, or researching other biodiesel sites still does not convince you, then hopefully seeing some real Sydney-siders running a wide range of vehicles, might convince you that it is not really all that hard to kick the highly polluting petro-oil habit we have and start running on the good oil – biodiesel.
As you will read, we use it in our cars which range from old Toyotas, through to ultra-modern, turbocharged, inter-cooled common rail diesels. I’d especially like to highlight this last point as I have often seen people who think their Diesel engine might be a bit too new and complicated to “risk it”. We’re running it in some of the most advanced Diesel engines available on the Australian market, so I hope that squashes this myth.
We hope that some real examples might help to put an end to all the myths and ignorance that seem to abound in Australia about biodiesel.
Please view our members section for more detail.
